Some people have just got it, haven’t they? You see it, as soon as they walk into the room. They’re the ones everyone wants to be around. In fact, they’re the ones everyone really wants to be. I guess they were just born like that, right?
Well actually, no. Some people are born more confident than others although anyone can learn to have greater self-belief. It starts with thinking positively. Whether you think big or small, just having the courage to think for yourself means you instantly grow a little in confidence. It is something that takes practise, though. You don’t just wake up one morning a more confident person. You need to remember that your ideas are valuable. When you believe in yourself, others believe in you too.
So what can you do today to start building your self-confidence? Here are some quick and simple ways to change your thinking and feel better about yourself every day. Set your phone alarm to remind you to stick with it.

Set yourself up for a great day by listening to an inspirational podcast. You could be in the shower, on the bus or walking to school or college; wherever you have time to yourself. There are some great podcasts out there. Here are a few of our favourites.

And YouTube stars like Casey Niestat are entertaining yet thought-provoking. So switch up your channels and get yourself more confident, one day at a time.
