"I find that because of the work Unstoppable Teen has done with our students, when we challenge their performance they have already considered what they are doing and are receptive to the conversation. I feel it provides a useful lever. Great Job."

Science Teacher, Westfield School

"The children were engaged and were enjoying themselves. Kevin was warm, yet at the same time I think the children realised that he wasn't up for any nonsense. He really emphasised that they all can suceed and I liked the line 'success and happiness don't care where you came from’."

Adrienne, Teacher

FAQs

This page provides answers to some of the common questions that schools and youth organisations ask us:

1. What is Unstoppable Teen?

See our Philosophy page

2. What are the strengths of Unstoppable Teen?

We have several strengths that enable us to help young people:
a) Unstoppable Teen’s greatest strength is helping young people get to the point where they want to make improvements to their own lives. We are able to ignite the fire of desire that lies within students. Essentially, we are a catalyst for teenager’s personal improvement.

b) We communicate with our audiences through their preferred means. For example, we deliver in-person seminars, online webinars, downloads, books etc. This flexible approach enables us to connect with students, teachers and parents on their terms, which increases our ability to achieve positive results.

c) We understand that knowledge alone doesn’t transform people’s lives. We believe it’s important to move people emotionally if they’re going to use knowledge to improve their quality of life. That’s why we seek to entertain, educate and inspire people though our programs. Rather than being a provider of ‘content’ we are a facilitator of enjoyable ‘experiences’.

d) We recognise that to help young people experience long-term well-being, we must not only provide guidance to the young person, we must also have empowering solutions available for their parent(s), teachers, coaches and peers. It is this holistic approach that enables us to achieve sustainable breakthroughs where others may fail.

e) We allow people to access all the resources we’ve ever made, but it’s our constant innovation that puts us on the cutting-edge and enables us to relate effectively with young people. We are constantly monitoring teen trends, seeking new ways to make a difference and using evidence where possible to guide the development of our resources.

f) We have quick-fix solutions that can be easily accessed and used to rapidly improve results. We also provide long-term strategies that are designed to help people develop positive habits that are sustained over an extended period of time. This short-term and long-term combination enables us to meet different people’s needs and avoids the limitations of other programs that might provide immediate help but lack the long-term sustainability that’s required for success.

g) We embed accelerated learning and advanced teaching techniques into our programs which enable people to learn without knowing they’re learning, and causes the users of our resources to experience personal improvement that they previously thought was impossible.

3. What age range are your resources suitable for?

Our resources are for 13 to 19 year olds, their parents, teachers and sports coaches. Our resources have been used by pre-teens and people in their twenties, but we always recommend that adults preview materials before sharing them with young people.

9. Why does Kevin always wear yellow shoes?

It all started by accident when Kevin bought a random pair of trainers that happened to be yellow. The next day, Kevin wore his new yellow shoes on stage whilst presenting a motivational seminar at a school in his hometown. The audience loved the new yellow footwear! Then, when Kevin turned up at a different school the following day without his new yellow shoes we received complaints and expressions of disappointment! Since that day, Kevin always wears yellow shoes on stage!

A Few Things To Think About

A clear vision, backed by definite plans, gives you a tremendous feeling of confidence and personal power.

Brian Tracy

Many of us grow up thinking of mistakes as bad, viewing errors as evidence of fundamental incapacity. This negative thinking pattern can create a self-fulfilling prophecy, which undermines the learning process. To maximize our learning it is essential to ask: "How can we get the most from every mistake we make?
